ClipForge Refund & Revision Policy

At ClipForge, we offer professional video editing services with a commitment to quality and efficiency. Due to the custom nature of our work, we have implemented a strict no-refund policy while ensuring fair and structured revision options. This policy safeguards our business while maintaining transparency with our clients.
1. General No-Refund Policy

All payments made to ClipForge are final and non-refundable once work has commenced.

Video editing is a customized service, meaning time, effort, and resources are allocated immediately upon order confirmation. Therefore, refunds will not be issued for dissatisfaction with the final product or changes in client preferences.

Clients are expected to provide clear instructions, reference materials, and constructive feedback throughout the editing process to avoid unnecessary revisions or disputes.
2. Cancellation & Termination Policy
Cancellations are subject to the following conditions:

Before Work Begins: A partial refund may be granted at ClipForge’s discretion, minus a 25% administrative fee for consultation, file setup, and resource allocation.

After Work Has Started: No refunds will be issued once editing has commenced, regardless of project status or client decision to discontinue services.

After Final Delivery: No cancellations or refunds will be entertained after a project has been delivered and approved by the client.

ClipForge Termination of Service: If ClipForge determines that a project cannot be completed due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., technical failure, business closure, conflicts of interest, or suspected fraudulent activity), a refund may be issued at ClipForge’s sole discretion after deducting work completed up to that point.
3. Revision Policy
To ensure quality output while protecting our time and resources, we have a structured revision policy based on the type of project purchased.
3.1 Included Revisions
Each project includes a specific number of complimentary revisions as per the service package:

Standard Business Video- 3 Free Revisions
Real Estate Video- 3 Free Revisions
Advanced/Commercial Editing- 4 Free Revisions
Custom/High-End Projects- To Be Determined in Contract
3.2 Revision Guidelines

Revisions must be requested within 7 days of receiving the draft. Any requests made after this period will be considered a new project and billed accordingly.

Revisions must stay within the original project scope. Any major structural or creative changes not included in the original instructions will require additional charges.

Revisions do not include the following unless explicitly agreed upon in the service package:

Addition of new footage not originally provided.
-
Complete storyline or structure changes.
-
Re-editing due to client preference changes after prior approval.
-
New graphics, animations, or visual effects not previously discussed.

3.3 Additional Revisions & Charges
If a client exceeds the allotted free revisions, additional changes will be billed separately at the following rates:

4. Exceptional Refund Considerations
Refunds will only be considered under the following circumstances:

ClipForge Is Unable to Deliver: If ClipForge is incapable of completing a project due to technical failure or internal issues, a partial refund may be issued based on work completed.

Duplicate Payment Error: If a client is accidentally charged twice, the excess amount will be refunded after verification.

Service Refusal: If ClipForge declines a project after payment has been made, a full refund will be issued.
5. Client Responsibility & Non-Compliance

Clients must ensure that all required materials (video footage, branding elements, music, text, etc.) are submitted in a timely manner. Any delays caused by the client do not entitle them to refunds or expedited service.

Unresponsive Clients: If a client fails to provide required feedback or disappears for 14 days or more, the project will be considered abandoned, and no refunds will be issued.

If a client submits materials that are illegal, plagiarized, or violate copyright laws, the project will be immediately canceled without a refund, and the client will be held legally responsible for any claims that arise.
6. Rush Orders & Deadlines

Rush Orders: Expedited turnaround services are available for an additional fee. Rush fees are non-refundable.

Client-Caused Delays: If a deadline is missed due to the client's failure to provide necessary materials or feedback, ClipForge will not be held liable, and no refunds or discounts will be provided.
7. Dispute Resolution & Chargebacks
We value client satisfaction and encourage communication to resolve any issues before escalation.

Chargeback Policy: If a client initiates a chargeback without first contacting ClipForge to resolve the issue, they will:

Forfeit all rights to the edited material and any in-progress work.

Be permanently banned from using ClipForge’s services.
-
Face legal action to recover costs, including processing fees and potential damages.

Dispute Resolution: If a disagreement arises, the parties agree to negotiate in good faith before seeking legal recourse.
8. Refund Processing & Fees

If a refund is granted under exceptional circumstances, it will be processed within 10–14 business days via the original payment method.

Any transaction fees incurred by the payment processor will be deducted from the refund amount.
9. Limitation of Liability

ClipForge is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services.

Clients assume full responsibility for how the final edited content is used, including any third-party copyright claims.

ClipForge reserves the right to refuse service to any client who engages in abusive, fraudulent, or unethical behavior.
10. Amendments to This Policy
ClipForge reserves the right to update or modify this refund and revision policy at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the latest version of this policy.
